Edgemont Meadows embraces the greatest amenity- living in the Rocky Mountains. Our forests, meadow, hiking trails and river access provide opportunities for outdoor living, just minutes to downtown Durango.
Each home site has direct access to our extensive trail system within the community. There is also a connection to over a mile of trail along the Florida River.
In addition to hiking along the Florida River, there is also access for excellent catch and release fishing. The entire river corridor is a gathering place for local wildlife.
The Meadows offers an area to enjoy a picnic with friends and family. Sit back and relax in the peaceful environment, while being surrounded by majestic beauty.
Our entry sign is a continuation of the tradition of metal sculpture by local artist Dave Claussen, who also built the entry sculptures at Edgemont Highlands.
The architectural assurances and CC&R’s are designed to protect and promote and sense of community through a harmonious blend of colors, materials and architectural styles. Appropriate natural landscaping and limited fencing encourage community and interaction with the natural surroundings.
All utilities including natural gas are underground and stubbed to lots. The Edgemont Ranch Metro District provides water, sewer, road maintenance and snow plowing. Utility connection fees are among the least expensive in the area.
